يوسف و كنزة …..
كلُّ يُنادي يا كُلّ كُل
وقرص من الشّمس في قلبي هل
فهل من مجيب لقلبٍ كفيف
وهل من شروق لكلِ من ابتهل
وهل لي في ضوع الرسائل
جواب شفيف لكل من سأل
وهل في المآقي رقص الحنين
ومن نهر دمعي شرب وثمل
وهل في البيادي ريم تباهي جمالا
وهل في البحر موج يسقى المرافىء بدفىء القبل
وكل العيون تخاطب نجما
أضاء فؤادا من الفقد كل
.يا كلّ كلّي
يا حسن يوسف يا شهقة الغدر فوق الجبل
يا كلّ كُلّي و بسمة كنزة
تذرف دمعا ينادي
أبي كحلم الأماني ذهب و رحل
يا كل كلي في القلب لي
شعاع عمة فهل لي بلقاء الأمل ؟

The rivers we sat by, have got one side
They swallow my sighs
The sparkle of a strong sailor
The twinkling pearls of the sea
And the glory of the tide
They all know, you are not fooling me
The fluffy leaves of an aged tree
stroking the rim of my pain-stricken heart
They do not want me to forget
The trust I gave and the hand I would wave
To the flying birds singing the hymn of treachery
Never think that you are fooling me
The sky and its fight
wading crepuscule
In beauty and light
The glow of a lantern lodging in your heart
what a flurry sight
Blurring the sog of hypocrisy
Never think that you are fooling me
Never thought because I laid the carpet
you can trudge on my name
I am a pure soul so,
I would never do the same
From the bank of a river joy
To the rim of an angry sea
