INTRODUCTION:Fines arts differ in the subject matter of expression : painting,sculpture,music.

Perhaps our modest approach is based on one of the most prominent types of arts,which occupies a prominent place arrong of the whole world.

* Music:

A.Mythological Definition:

In Greek mythology,the name of music goes back to the most beautiful,female goddesses,the nine sisters aliased( bana ),who are related to music,dance,singing,arts,poetry and sciences .

Music is one of the audio visual arts and scientifically means the employment of various phonetic elements,it also means the of expressing feelings through these elements the voice and the human ear are its two basic tools.

B.linguistic Definition:

Music in its idiomatic definition,according to AL FARABI’s definition means making melodies and the word music means melodies,and the name of the melody falls on a group of different tones arranged in a limited order .

It has meanings and it may also refer to other meanings.

It is stated in LISAN  al ARAB Melody:it is one of the formulated sounds,combined with melodies and he tuned in his reading if the sang and spoke with melodies and the hadith:” Read the QUR’AN IN THE TUNES OF Arabs.”

He tuned in to his reading,if he recites it and sings ,and he is the most melodies of people,if he is the best of them in reciting or singing.

1. Idiomatic Definition:

It came in the Dictionary of contemporary Language: Music is the composing of melodies,their distribution and rhythm,and the singing of all kinds of musical instruments.

Music is the art of composing sounds and silence over a period of time.

Its pillars are:the pitch of the voice includes melody and harmonious harmony,rhythm,including,ornamentation and sweetness scholars of the

history of musical life believe that the word music was of greek origin and meant that the arts would  remain in general.

And then it became in a dimension called the Language of melodies only.

It was said in its definition: that is one of the Audio- visual arts and it means the treatment of aesthetically employing the various sound elements,and it also means the arts of expressing feelings through these elements and the human voice and the ear are its main tools.

The term music has been defined as the art of melodies and industry in which the organization of melodies and the relationships between them,as well as the rhythms and their weights are searched.

D.Vocal harmony:

It  is the effect of linguistic sounds on each other with the aim of  a kind of similarity between them ,and the phenomenon of phonetic harmony that  mainly emanates from the influence of sounds with each other inconnevted speech,alopecia of poetic text which aims to express ideas and meaning easily …

General Summary:

A  coustic harmony ,proportion and smooth ness are the main components of a musical context.

No thing that the German orientalist Sigrid hoenke said that the passages of the musical scale were taken from the ARABIC LETTERS( D.R.M.F.R.L.M)

In any case ….the site of music was shown in the background of the Arab mind and its systeme of thinking and opened up the horizons for the science of language music.
